SMILE

Smile is a dark comedy short film written & directed by Ivana Strajin made in Massachusetts.

 

After a woman's insurance is declined at the orthodontist's office, her pursuit to resolve the matter spirals out of control when she gets hit by a car, only to end up with yet another medical bill. She evades death but nearly misses one of the most important events of her life.

Smile premiered at the 2022 Boston International Film Festival. Our film screened at the AMC on Tremont Street in Boston; theatre 18 now has a special place in my heart!

The film also screened at the 2022 Fort Lauderdale International Film Festival and the 2023 Saint Augustine Film Festival Part Deux. We are honoured to have been included!
